What is shown in the scene
The ball is airborne above a single cone, and curved motion lines show its soft upward path. The kicking player stands on one side of the cone while a teammate waits farther ahead, ready for the pass to arrive. Both children are positioned on an open grass practice area. A simple goal appears in the background, with small grass tufts and low bushes around the field. The picture focuses on a controlled lifted pass rather than a powerful shot, with the cone acting as an obstacle that the ball must travel over.
Football lob and chipped-pass facts
A lifted pass sends the ball through the air instead of keeping it on the ground. Players may use this type of touch to send the ball over an obstacle or into space for a teammate. The amount of lift depends on where the foot contacts the ball and how much force is used. A softer touch can create a short arc, while a stronger one can carry the ball farther. Practicing over a cone gives a clear visual target because the player can see whether the ball rises enough to clear the obstacle and still travels toward the teammate.
