Who Is the Labugen Editorial Team?
The byline “Labugen Editorial Team” refers to the team that runs the website. The publisher is Grupa Damian Zięba, based in Leżajsk, Poland; full company details are available on the About Us and Legal Information pages.
We do not use made-up names as bylines or claim to be teachers, psychologists, or doctors. If a specialist contributes to a resource, we provide their full name and profession.
How We Create Our Materials
We create most materials with the help of artificial intelligence tools. Language models write activities, descriptions, guides, and translations, while an image generator draws coloring pages. People choose the topics, set the rules, and configure the checks. Not every resource is reviewed by a person before publication. Below, we explain what we check for each type of content.
Activities and Exercises
- Each activity is matched to a specific skill and the child’s age.
- An AI model proposes the activity template. Before it appears on the website, it undergoes two automated checks: one determines whether the instructions make sense and whether a child of that age can complete the activity, while another program solves 200 random versions of the activity and recalculates every result.
- If the program finds an error in an activity, it is not published on the website.
- The program is most reliable when checking number-based activities. It can check less in language activities, such as spelling or grammar exercises, so we particularly encourage users to report errors in these materials.
Coloring Pages
- An AI image generator creates the pictures from a description of the topic. A language model writes the titles, descriptions, and alternative text.
- Each image undergoes automated measurements to determine how much black it contains, whether it has any large black areas, and whether the drawing is cut off at the edge of the page. The person who decides whether to publish the image can see the measurement results.
- Since September 11, 2026, new coloring pages created by the generator have not been published automatically. They remain as drafts until a person publishes them.
- Coloring pages created before that date were published automatically after the measurements. An AI model is now gradually reviewing them by comparing each picture with its title and description. Not every one has been reviewed by a person.
Guides for Parents
- We write guides with the help of an AI model and follow a consistent structure: first a brief answer to the question, followed by an explanation and an activity to try at home.
- Each guide ends with a “Sources” section containing at least two links to original materials, such as curriculum standards, public health organizations, or universities. We do not invent studies, quotations, or regulations. If a recommendation is not supported by a reliable source, we describe it as a practice without including figures.
- In guides about children’s development and health, we do not provide diagnoses or recommend medication. These guides always explain when it may be helpful to consult a specialist, such as a speech and language therapist, psychologist, or educational specialist.
- Before publication, software checks the text’s structure, links, and sources. Not every guide is read by a person before it is published. Below the title, we provide the publication date and the date of the most recent significant update.
Translations
- The website is available in 14 languages. AI models translate the content from Polish.
- The software rejects any translation that is missing a section, changes variable fields in an activity, such as numbers, or contains words from another language.
- We review a sample of translations. Not every translation is read by someone who speaks the relevant language.
Errors and Corrections
- Every activity has a “Report an Error” button. You can report an error in a coloring page, guide, or translation by emailing contact@labugen.com.
- Every report enters a review queue. Two reports from different people automatically suspend an activity before anyone reviews it.
- After an activity is corrected, it returns to the website. If it cannot be corrected, we remove it. A new update date indicates that a guide has been corrected.
- We keep reports for no longer than 12 months.
Advertising and Content
The website is funded by Google ads displayed on public pages; the Learning Zone has no ads. Advertisers have no influence over the materials we publish or what we write in our guides.
