What is in the scene?
The picture shows a large snow globe standing on a plain pedestal. Inside the clear round globe is a small fairy-tale palace with two rounded towers and a central entrance. Three oversized snowflakes float around the palace, leaving plenty of open space between the main shapes. The palace is compact and centered inside the globe, so the building, towers, snowflakes, base, and outer curve of the globe can all be seen clearly. The scene combines a familiar winter decoration with an imaginative palace theme while keeping the composition simple for younger children.
Snow globe facts
A snow globe is a transparent sphere that contains a miniature scene and loose particles suspended in liquid. When the globe is shaken, the particles move through the liquid and slowly fall again under gravity. A slightly thicker liquid can make the particles descend more slowly, creating the familiar drifting-snow effect. Many snow globes are fixed to a solid base that helps them stand upright and can also hide decorative or mechanical parts. The miniature scene inside may show buildings, landscapes, animals, or seasonal decorations.

- Soft pink or lavender for the two rounded towers
- Warm yellow for windows and the central doorway
- White with light blue accents for the three snowflakes

- Brown, gold, or gray for the pedestal
